Dr. Baker was born at the Fountain Head of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA and has been under chiropractic care from the moment he was born. As the son of a Chiropractor, he developed his love for chiropractic watching his father teach future Chiropractors at Palmer College of Chiropractic. Seeing and feeling the benefits of chiropractic, Dr. Baker knew that this was the career for him and started his education at the University of Northern Iowa. Graduating from UNI with a B.A. in Science in 2000, he quickly enrolled at Palmer College of Chiropractic and graduated in 2004.
While at Palmer, he furthered his knowledge by taking two leadership roles. The first role was in the academic radiology department by helping students work through assignments designed to increase their ability to produce high quality x-rays. His second leadership position was a clinical teaching assistant. In this role he helped colleagues “learn the ropes” on clinical procedures and rhythm.
Shortly after graduation, he “got his feet wet” working with a friend in Michigan learning billing and office management. After receiving licensure in Illinois, Dr. Baker worked in Bloomington and Sterling as an Associate Doctor.
As Dr. Baker refinded his skills, his passion towards sports and healthy children was apparent. He has established a dedicated sports program to help keep all althletic ages and abilities without nervous hinderances to acheive their peak performance.
Dr. Baker is excited to be working in Amboy and hopes that his energy will help to keep people healthy.
